Outreach
Keeping up membership numbers is like filling a very leaky colander. So to improve our outreach the BCC stall has been reborn! Yes, doing stalls is hard work. But it's an opportunity to feel part of an event, to enjoy good weather, and to love-bomb lots of interesting cyclists!
We've done stalls at the Uni Green Week, BBBR and the Cyclist's Breakfast. There was loads of interest, armfuls of literature given out and magazines sold, and quite a few new members.
There really are lots of people out there who appreciate our assertively pro-cycling sustainability message.
Thanks to Julian for getting things started, to Fred for the loan of the Easton Community juggernaut bike trailer, thanks also to Kean for the use of his trailer too, and to everyone who helped out staffing the stalls.
We're planning more stalls soon! Meanwhile, if you need membership forms to give out on rides or to stock dispensers at work etc, Bike-Stand Stickers, or a stock of our magazines, then leave me a message on 0117-951-2157.
