Last July a group of us spent an idyllic camping-cycling weekend at Bendalls farm on the Mendips.
Why stay on a bland campsite squashed between caravans and canvas mansions, all transported by gas-guzzles, and mixing with the unenlightened who just marvel at the smallness of your tents, when instead you can camp in an organic hay field surrounded by young saplings which will one day grow into a permaculture small-holding and have the company of people who share a vision of sustainability?
