Advice
Guide to Cycle Parking Provision - issued by the Council it covers issues such as type of rack to use, spacing requirements and suppliers. NOTE: The space specified in this document is less than Cycling England and LTN 2/08 Cycle Infrastructure Design Chapter 11 Cycle Parking recommendations. All racks should be a minimum of 1000mm apart and ideally 1200mm, rather than the 900mm (for parallel) and 1000mm (for 45degree) spacing in the Bristol document. Try to get your councillor to get this changed.
